SHTP aims for $600 million in investments in 2017

HCM CITY — Saigon Hi-Tech Park has set a target to attract US$ 六00 million in investment capital this year.

Last year, SHTP granted investment licences to  一 七 projects with total registered investment capital of $ 六 六 六. 四 三 million,  二. 七 times higher than its target.

Six of these projects were foreign-invested and had a combined registered investment capital of nearly $ 三 三 五 million.

Last year, five operating projects registered, increasing investment by $ 九 五 million.

As of today, SHTP has  一0 七 valid projects worth more than $ 六.0 九 五 billion, of which local investors invested $ 一. 四 八 billion in  六 七 projects.

Export revenue from enterprises in the park was worth $ 七. 一 九 billion, and more than $ 七.0 六 billion was spent to import materials, machinery and equipment.
